I see clients from all over the West Midlands, an easy journey for anyone from Dudley, Brierley Hill, Cradley, Cradley Heath, Quarry Bank, Stourbridge, Colley Gate, Quinton, Sedgley, or any of the surrounding areas.

I offer short term counselling from six sessions, or open ended longer term psychotherapy which will continue until you feel ready to stop.

Get in touch if you want any information and we can arrange an initial session so that we may have the opportunity to meet and discuss what is on offer and what will suit you as an individual. I welcome everyone, and will aim to help you find your own way of living your life in a more complete, satisfying and resourceful manner, that offers you what you want. I treat every client as an individual with unique personal qualities and goals because that is what they are.

How do I work?

I work as a facilitator in the process of change. I work with the wholeness of the individual, by this I mean I look at you as unique with your own interests and thoughts, and I do not reduce you to the sum of your current difficulties.

Through my extensive training in the Humanistic and Gestalt approach to counselling, I am able to facilitate change in the individual and help them to re-discover all aspects of themselves. I am an integrative counsellor, this means I will integrate aspects from different approaches if I feel these techniques will best suit the client.

Part of my commitment when I work with you is to raise your awareness to areas of your life that you feel require attention.

By heightening your awareness; You develop insight into the areas that brought you into therapy and understand how you can improve your current situation, without this you could be left feeling really stuck in life.

Through your increased awareness, you can make choices. During sessions you will notice the importance I place on building an authentic, warm and trusting relationship. I am keen to understand how you're impacted by your experiences and I will usually share my own response to what you bring. Gestalt sessions are often lively, creative, challenging and profoundly enlightening. Imagine having someone genuinely interested in YOU and committed to helping you live the life that you choose.
